This
is a fantastic story that has been known on the internet for years...even
I first read around 1995.. Anyway, this story is based on the Super
Mario World continuity, and it's one of the most unique works of
Mario fiction, entirely uninspired by the craze of fanfiction that
came in years after it was written. Even though this story is great,
it's very hard to find on the internet, especially since its homepage
no longer exists. I ran into Pteryx on her IRC channel one day,
and she gave me
permission to post it here on my site, unchanged from the original.
